Proficiency Awards are interviews and applications based on a student’s Supervised Agricultural Experience, or record book. Students can hold many jobs in agriculture that qualify for Proficiency Areas. Proficiency Award interviews first happen at the Section level. If a student wins there, they compete at the District level, and if they win at Districts, they compete at the State level.
